Untold Riches

The collections of Lambeth Palace Library would be very different and much poorer without the Friends of Lambeth Palace Library. Over the last sixty years the Friends have helped the Library acquire over 1,000 individual items and several discrete collections. These acquisitions have included early printed books, medieval manuscripts, archives, prints, and even artefacts, all of which illuminate the history of the Church in England pre- and post-Reformation.

This online exhibition is a celebration of the contribution that the Friends have made to the Library over the years. We hope that it gives an idea of the richness and scale of the acquisitions that the Friends have helped the Library make.
